They are called avatar's...go to the button at the top of any page and select "usercp"
You can download a picture there, but it has to be downsized to work...if you have a photoshop program or similar to resize it...

while we are on the subject of pics... how do you guys get the thumbnail previews of the pics that you can click on for larger viewing pleasure?

See the Quick Reply window at the bottom of the thread? Click on "Go Advanced". At the bottom of the page under "Additional Options, you will see a "Manage Attachments" button...Have fun!

Test photo looks good...
My sister used to work at the plant that made "Tickle me Elmo" dolls. She was in charge of giving Elmo Two Test-tickles
