Been looking around since late lastnight so I figured I would join up today and say hi.
I just got a great deal on a used 2007 Titan SE yesterday so I brought it home. I was in the market for a newer truck, was actually looking for a Tacoma but they are all made of gold I guess. I came across a just traded in 2007 Titan with 80,000 miles on it, carfax checked out great, dealer ran a check and showed no problems and we worked out a deal.
I am new to Titans so is there anything I should be looking for or that I should replace? I got under the truck and there are no drips or leaks, diffs and all look good. I also got a 4yr 48000 miles extended warranty from the dealer.
Any tips or help is appreciated and now I will get back to searching and reading, thanks!

Welcome! I have a 07 cc se too! Lots you can and will do. Lol the only things gone bad on mine, Bad ecu (covered under 80k mile warranty, I had 10 miles under so it was covered lol), the fan went bad, but ordered a new one and fused it. My fuel sending unit was replaced under recall, but never had a prob with it. When you can, post pics up!

Congrats and welcome! If you bought it from a nissan dealer, you are probably good on the recalls. If not, call a nissan dealer service dept, ask them to look up your vin and see if all the recalls were serviced.
Welcome and you have a solid truck. Manifolds may crack down the road but headers will fix that issue and put a smile on your face. The earlier year trucks also had a issue with the ac drain line leaking in the cab and getting the carpet wet. Nissan knows about this issue and had a service bulletin on it. Check the passenger side carpet from time to time in the summer.
Thanks for the welcome fellas. The only real issue I have read about is a front axle problem? One thing I have found is my parking brake doesn't work, it engages but won't hold?
I traded in a 1997 Dodge 1500 4x4 5.2L......... the power of the Titan is really something. My Dad has always had old hot rods and the Titan impressed him with its overall getty up.
All I have is a cheesy cell phone pic for now, sorry:

I thought I hit something. Then pulled the drivers side rotor to find pieces laying there. When it happens, fix it or gut it or you'll need a new rotor. you can get the kit anywhere cheap. But still have chance of blowing apart later. The pads come apart from the shoe plates. Then everything comes apart lol

I'm going to start fluid changes coming up this week starting with the front/rear diffs. The oil was changed at the dealer the day I got the truck so it's good. Do you guys recommend getting the trans and t-case fluid from a dealer?
Yeah, get your tranny fluid from Nissan, for the diff (front&rear) Use royal purple or the like.. Something good. It's not something you want to be cheap with. It'll save you in the long run.. Other than that.. you've got a solid truck. 07's and 08's are my favorite year.
Welcome to TT.
