Exhaust Shops in the Houston Bay Area

well, i've been running an Acceptance Test for some Flight Hardware for the next NASA shuttle (STS-114), and in doing so have put in 62 hrs and will put in 12 final hours tonight.

as a result, next friday's paycheck should be....well endowed

i have been thinking about a nice flowmaster system for a while, and this gives me the perfect opprotunity.

anyone know of any good Custom Exhaust shops in the Texas Bay Area - ie League City, Webster, NASA, Seabrook, etc.?

if not, i'll just have to print out my exhuast plans and run from shop-to-shop to find teh best deal, although i'd prefer a shop that has already done a Titan before.

Sorry you didn't get any response for the Houston area, if in DFW, Kinney's Muffler in Bedford is the best there is.

I must admit that when I read your post, I wanted to help but to be perfectly honest, I don't know of any shop in Houston or the surrounding area that I would endorse. I have had aftermarket exhaust systems installed on three times in the last few years. All three times I have had issues...ridiculous issues. I know that there must be some fantastic shops in Houston that do this sort of work, but I have yet to find them or bump into anyone that has. Believe me, I feel your pain. I want to do the an aftermarket system as well but I remain apprehensive because of my previous experiences. At this point, it just isn't worth it to me. Before I babble for too long and end up forgetting, this VERY issue has been discussed before and it did turn up some results. Try a search. I will also try and see what I can turn up for you.

I know there's an exhaust shop in Conroe that does great work. I'll just have to find out though what the name is. My brother in law uses them exclusively and my wife had them do the exhaust on my F150 (pre-Titan!!!!) for my b-day and they did a great job. As a matter of fact, the exhaust and my Pioneer radio are the only 2 things I miss about my Ford. I'll try to get the name and phone numbers later this morning.

Well, I just spoke with the wife and the name of the place is It's Muffler Time. Just take 45 up to Conroe. Take the 336 South Loop east (right) up to Hwy 105 and I think turn right on 105 and I believe it's right there on your right. I used to drive by it all the time, but I didn't know that's where mine had been done. I don't know if they have any experience with the Titans. They did a great job on my F150 installing a 70 Series Flowmaster and straight pipes with 3-1/2" chrome tips. I'm in the process right now of selling one house, while living in a fix-er-up-er, so not a lot of spare dinero to spend on extras for the truck yet.
