I had an 2004 and hated it. Looking at a 2011 now are all the BS from the 2004 to the 2011 sorted out now. I am asking about things like the rear and front diff, axle seals etc???

What configuration is the one you are looking at ,and how much are they asking? I know the dealer near me had a brand new 2012 King Cab SV with a window sticker of 32k selling for 10k off of that. You might be able to get a better deal on a brand new leftover 12.
I havent read anything that said all the bugs were gone. However the amount of failures are significantly less and declining since 08.5

I want to call your experience with your 04 bad luck, but who knows. I have an 04 and I absolutely love it!
I have had a few issues with it, nothing major for me to say I hate it in the least. Granted I only have 48k on the clock. But, I did buy it with 29k almost 2yrs ago.
My front pinion seal on my transfer case went out, easy fix did it myself. The serp belt was squeeking like a raped ape, changed to a gatorback, easy fix. The power steering reservoir was leaking at the connector on the bottom, easy fix with a worm clamp.
Thats it. I keep up with my maitenance and ride her gently.
I want to say the reason my transfer case seal blew was because of me, when I got uprev. I think it blew because I had to do so many 0-60 runs. I cant remember how many, but it was a lot. So I think it was that combined with the added stress of my lift and big tires.
Who knows what happened, but I definitely dont hate my 04. My wife always teases me and tells me if my truck had a vagina, she wouldnt exist.
I also have a 2011 CC....best truck I have had yet...I will never give up this truck...no issues at 13000 and I can honestly say I don't expect to have any. Besides with a forum like TT, with the of experience from the men and women on this forum, you figure out to fix most if not all the issues you may encounter.
So, YAY!!!!! If your not aware already, just be aware of the mod bug.
