HAHAHA Sweet Success

Well folks, I am the proud new owner of a new Canteen Titan SE CC 4x2, with bedliner and extender, power captain and popular package.
I was originally looking for Deep Water Blue but for some reson I really liked the Canteen when I saw it up close. Colors not for everyone but I like it.
Hey Tim Sloper, I went to Universal Nissan over on OBT and haggled for a while and got a sweet deal(I think). The best part is I am keeping the SS and traded my wifes paid off Honda civic. It took a little convincing and budgeting but as long as she gets to drive the Titan alot she's happy.
The worst part is I don't get it til tomorrow. They said it had not been inspected since it arrived from the factory and due to liability could not let it off the lot.(which they say it should not have been put on since it wasn't inspected)
Only 10 miles on it when I drove it.
Thanks again to everyone here for all the info, much appreciated.

Hey, congratulations, glad everything worked out for you.
I like the canteen myself, that was the color I was going to get if I ordered one, but as luck would have it when I went to the dealer he had one in silver with all of the options that I wanted.
congrats again, can't wait to see some pics,

Thanks guys, I'll get some pics posted later this week. I just can't wait to drive it around. I don't know how some of these guys waited months for theirs.
It would kill me.

Congrats Sikh! Canteen was my first choice too, but couldn't get one with options I wanted. Don't know if you've heard, but Nissan is reportedly discontinuing the canteen for '05, so you'll have a rare Titan.

Thanks Titanwild, I havn't heard that about the canteen but that's cool with me. The rarer the better. BTW have any of your mods affected your warranty at all?
Just curious.

SIKH, I only know of them getting rid of the Sedona (which is my 3rd favorite behind Canteen and RedBrawn) They have a beautiful canteen se crew 4x4 with off road package here at the local lot in Texas. I love the color so great choice and congrats on your purchase.

I know what you are saying about the waiting thing. I have finally decided on the Red Brawn le cc (over the f-150 lariat) and i am antsy. Have to wait 1 more month though,.

Cant wait for the pics. enjoy it.

SEE!! Canteen is a specific color for specific people. What we specific people are, I dont know, but didn't Einstein prefer the color green?

Don't think so, the exhaust is 'cat back', seems to be the consensus that this won't affect warranty at all. The K&N drop-in air filter works fine, no problems, so no issue with warranty that I can see. The Viper alarm system complies with Nissan recommendations for installation (per DCI), shouldn't be a problem, other stuff is cosmetic.

Well congrats man , there's nothing like the feeling of owning a new vehicle. My only problem is that that feeling for me wears off at around 2-2/12 yrs of ownership. Hope that doesn't happen to my titan.

I read this as there might be a new factory recall issue based upon the vehicle. I hope not, but remember when the seat belt recall went out, all dealerships went onto a delivery-hold until the vehicles were deliverd to customers.

That's just my $100.00 - $999.98 thought on the quote above....

Sikh, I apologse, I really am happy that you've got a great new vehicle, and my post was inconsiderate of your elation over your new vehicle. I was the same way, and I still am. I'm really not grumpy about the Titan, but with the hold, it sounded alot like a recent recall.
