Thumbs down Rattling Sunroof

Howdy TT folks!

I'm not a frequent poster here but I've been reading this site for quite some time and all the reports from Titan owners pushed me over the edge and I got mine in March or so.

I searched the threads but couldn't find what I was looking for. My sunroof rattles and it is driving me CRAZY. Sometimes it won't make a sound for 4 days or so and then all of a sudden it starts rattling; it actually sounds like the the glass is vibrating against something. It does it when the sunroof is open or closed. If it rattled closed and I open it, it still rattles (but not during the opening or closing). I don't drive offroad or anything like that and my commute is all of eight miles on the highway.

After inspecting it as much as I could and testing it over different speedbumps, starts/stops, speeds etc I couldn't figure it out. Then one day when it was rattling I just pressed down on the front corner and held it (over the passenger side) while it was all the way open and the noise stopped.

So, I take this information to the dealership and tell them everything, even how I get the noise to stop. When I go to pick it up the service guy says he couldn't find anything wrong with it, "it didn't make any noise while I was driving it". Okay, fair enough.

What do I do? I can't figure out how to fix it myself, I don't see any loose screws or anything. This is maddening as the problem is sporadic and won't manifest itself on cue.

This is my first pickup and I've always wanted a truck but now I'm starting to doubt my decision. The rear suspension squeaks sometimes when I get out (with nothing in the bed by the way), the front end seems to squeal for NO apparent reason (at slow speeds up to 15mph just after startup), not to mention all the random rattles inside, uneven rear bumper, messed up radio....

Like everyone else says, outside of these issues I'm pretty happy (my dirtbike trailer is REEEAAALL happy), but these issues are beyond irritating when a 40k vehicle has less than 10k miles on it and the darned dealership can't ever figure anything out (they've been retty good with all the other warranty items so far).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sound like metal tapping glass or other way around?

I've got it too. Same exact spot. Front right corner. I spent 2 hours looking
for it one day. It did this for approx 1 month, then all of the
sudden stopped a few weeks ago. Who knows. Maybe it's gone.

I scoured the board for similar problem but couldn't find anyone else
that had this. I never was able to find out what it was/is so I don't have
any advice. Just know you're not alone.
