Question Paint Damage?

I bought my new Titan on July 15th. I began to wash it a couple days after I got it home and noticed swirl marks on the front left panel above the tire. The mark goes the complete length of the panel. My truck is radiant silver. I took it back to the dealer and they noticed it but didn't really give me a solution. After trading a couple words, they have contacted Nissan and they are going to send a paint rep to look at it. Aparently the service manager said they they have been having paint problems b/c people on the assembly line have been taking grinders to smooth out panels and it shows up in the paint.

You should also see the thread about the jewelry the employees were wearing. That also marred the paint. I'll edit this if I can find the post.

Edit: Here is the thread. Maybe print it and take it to the dealer?

Thanks,
I'll do that. The damage is under the clear coat. The dealer tried to blame it on me until they actually took the time to look at it closely.

Back in 94 I purchased a Toyota truck with similar damage - there was what appeared to be sanding marks that were under the clear coat. I raised a big stink but the best I could get was a new paint job which I didn't really want on a new vehicle with less than 100 miles on it.
