first, welcome to TT and congrats on your new ride.
heavily covered topic but my mileage is in my sig. i drive easy most of the time, only mod so far is a CAI. best bet is keep it under 2k rpms, use your cruise control often, dont let it sit and idle with the engine running.
ive been doing a lot of mileage logging and will soon put results in a thread i started a little while ago but they are what they are. it is a truck that is fun to drive, looks good, and fun to mod. it sucks at the gas station, but pretty awesome the rest of the time.

The Following User Says Thank You to fish For This Useful Post:
I get 15-16 mpg and up to 375 miles a tank when I just go to work and back on the high way. My last tank was 377 miles on 24.2 gallons. That's 15.6 mpg average for My wife's armada gets closer to 18 mpg when I drive it. When she drives it she gets 13-14 mpg lol.
All I can say is easy on the throttle, hope for down hill roads, draft big trucks, keep tires inflated properly, clean your air filter, pray, and get a beater car to drive to save money
I have an 08 Pro 4X CC, getting 13.5-14.5 mpg. Truck is awesome though, no regrets. Fuel mileage kind of the reason I got the truck, wierd as that may seem. Wife had a 2010 Armada(16.5 mpg) and she loved it but couldn't stand fuel mileage, so bad it prompted her to go trade it for a smaller car. I missed the Armada so bad I sold my 06 Wrangler(12 mpg) and bought the Titan, love these trucks!

I actually just drove from Savannah to Pigeon Forge and back. I did 330 miles on the way up and got 14.34mpg. Picked up a 1 lb puppy for the kids and drove back the next day. On the way back I got 353 miles with the fuel light on for about 25 miles. I got 13.65mpg for the trip home.
I figured the reason for lower mpgs on the return trip was because of the snow and ice coming thru Cherokee and Ashville. I had alot of slow down speed up driving with the weather.

FYI I've mentioned this a couple times already recently that I've had a 2013 Sierra the last few weeks while my T is getting fixed, and this thing is maybe 1mpg better than my T.
I was expecting much better for a brand new truck.
I've owned my 2011 since the end of July and have put 10000 miles on it. My average since then has been 14.1mpg. I've seen as good as 16.71 and as bad as 12.29mpg. That's calculated at the pump. I live up north and with winter blend gas and cold temps it doesn't help the ol' MPG. Also driving about 80% Highway, 20% City.
