I have a 2004 titan with front leather bucket seats that are heated. This morning, I pushed the swith but only the bottom light on the switch lit up. They both lit up before when I pushed the switch back and forth. Anyone else have this problem? Know of a fix?
Birdman
Manual says that the indicator lights are for High or Low. I wouldn't expect both of them to be on at the same time, and the seat is thermostatically controlled. Maybe someone else can offer some other info.
See attached file from the owner's manual:

My mother has a 2004 nissan maxima, and she has heated seats, and buddy when you
put them on high within a few minutes your butt is on fire.
I have a 04 titan with leather heated seats, and i can leave them on for hours and only notice alittle heat
I know what your talking about.

I know the lights shouldn't both be on at the same time. The "high" light on both switches do not light up.

Sounds like a dealer issue...sorry

Now this is an interesting thread. I posted a similar thread last night with a similar question.
There must be a high and low setting somehow because I remember turning on the heated seats one morning and about burning my a$$ off after about 5 minutes. Now, at least usually, I don't feel much heat at all. There was something that I did that morning that put the seats on a high setting.
Just as the other posters noted, I only have one setting on my switch as well with only one light.
It would be nice to figure out how this works since winter is approaching like a freight train.
In looking at the wiring diagram, the seats appear to have two heating elements and one thermostat. When on Low, only one element heats up, and when on High they both heat up.
The diagram only shows ONE indicator light as far as I can tell. If you read the owner's manual, it says that the indicator light in the switch, will light when you push either Hi or Lo.
Try turning up your panel rheostat...see if you can see it better. I don't have the heated seats, or I would look for myself.

Look at the manual...push the top of the switch for HI, and the bottom for LO

duh....you're right. *slaps forehead* There are indeed two settings.
Owned the truck for almost three months and still discovering things about it.
Funny thing is I actually did read the manual cover to cover.
If you read the manual it states that with the switch in one position it heats the seat only and the other rocker position heats the seat and seat back.
mhwo, where did you see that? under the heated seats (section2 pg 29) it states as follows:
"The front seats are warmed by built-in heaters (if
so equipped).
1. Start the engine.
2. Push the (low) or (high) position
of the switch, as desired, depending on
the temperature. The indicator light in the
switch will illuminate.
The heater is controlled by a thermostat,
automatically turning the heater on and off.
The indicator light will remain on as long as
the switch is on.
3. When the seat is warmed or before you
leave the vehicle, be sure to turn the switch
off."
i don't see anything there about whether it heats the seat or seat back.
