Map Holder Pocket

I put some of my Gazateers in the map holder pocket behind the drivers seat the other day and then noticed last night that the pocket came apart on one side. It appears that the pocket is held together on each side with 2 pieces of plastic that are supposed to interlock together. I put them back together, but I am not sure if it will stay. I assume it is done this way in case someone would ever need to get at the electronics for the power seat. I thought about gluing them together but not sure if I should. Has this happened to anyone else?

The day after I brought mine home I was showing it off to som e guys at work and then one of them asked me what was wrong with the seat back, HOLY C@#% the seat's torn. Well I figured out hot to snap it back but I've talked to others who have had the same thing happen. I think the "channel" locking system is weak and will be changed. I had my truck in the shop getting a lojack installed and there was another owner there having the seat replaced because his seatback kept comming appart all by itself.

I took mine in for this same problem. They gave me a new seat back and gave me the old one. I found out when I got home it was an easy fix. Now I have an extra $400 seat back.

Yeah, mine does it too. Why isn't it just sewn or velcroed? I noticed it seems to do it more when I use the lumbar support.

Do you suppose its made to come apart for the side airbag? I don't see how but just wondering. I'm thinking of putting some epoxy in the plastic channel to keep it from coming apart.

Just notice mine today when my daughter pointed it out. I closed and snap the plastic guides back together but the botton corner still hangs out. If its a dealer fix, I'll have them replace it instead of going the simple route.

Built June 04, bought Aug 04- Smoke Crewcab 4x4 SE, UTil Pack, Big Tow, Off Road, In-Vent Visors, Westin Plat Step Rails, Carriage Billet Grilles, Lund Bug Deflector, KNN Drop-In
