Offroading the Titan

hey whatsup titan owners. i finally took my titan out for an offroad session today and all i can say is WOW. SocalSC and myself went out to the hills in Riverside Cal and took on some monsterous hills. I have a sc 2wd titan. mods- are an 8inch CST lift 35' tires on 17inch rims,and bilstein shocks. We started off with some small climbs and the titan how know problem getting up them with the vdc on. As we started to climb some steeper hills the titan was having a harder time. We ended up turning of the vdc and had no problems at all all day. Dam all i can say WoW. The titan performed unbelievably. Ill have SOCALSC post some pics. late mike

Ya today was fun as hell even thow I did not drive. Now I realy cant wait to lift my Titan. All in all the day was great and the truck performed awesome and better than I could have expected for just the basic lift with upgraded bilstien rear shocks. The micky thomson FCII's bit hard and took on some 4WD hills with no prob and kept mikes 2WD charging up the hills.

ONly prob we had to day was some rubbing on the front fenders witch was annoying on certain terrain and dented the bottom rear part of the inner fender nothing u could see with out sticking your head in the fenderwell realy no big the offcet on the rims in not perfect. As for the rear the right rear front lower portion of the bed side was bent the under side nothing a firm push from the palm could not fix. But this would have not happend if we were not determinated to concour this one hill. Mike got the truck to pogo over a bump halh way up and the truck jumped sideway and into a rut and jumped sideways the other way and then we crested the ***** in victory.

Here are some pics that I got off the hill in the pic is pretty steep and long and rutty get it wrong and u are backing down and trying again.

sc titan? what is that? supercharged?

anyways, i use to own a supercharged 4x4 frontier and I use to go some hard off roading with it. however, now the titan just doesnt feel as solid as the frontier... thats why i dont plan to go off roading anytime soon with it even tho i have 4x4.

But that hill looks steep! good job!
