I want to remove my utilitrak so i can properly drill and bolt in my truxedo. Using self tapping screws as suggested else where worries me because the screws are just biting into the thin sheet metal. I havn't had a chance to do this yet because I havn't tracked down the right size torque bit. Just wondering if anyone has had problems removing then re-installing the utilitrak?
I have a Truxedo tonneau cover, low-profile and I have the utilytrack system. The clamps that came with the kit install into the utilytrack and there is no drilling involved.
It works great (paid about 417 dollars for the whole thing)
emilio- I have the bed divider; the top tray and the bed extender. Its a pain moving this stuff in and out because the truxedo clamps are in the way. I'm going to permanently mount the rails in the bed so I don't need the clamps.
