Stolen accessories?

Do any of you worry about parts getting stolen of you Titan? I mean things like the sliding bed extender, or the tie down cleats?

I hate the look of the dangling chain lock on spare tires, so what other options are ther for locking the spare tire too?

That's why you don't leave the tie down cleats in the bed and put them inside the cab.

As for the sliding bed extender, you can put the end stoppers that came with the Utility track to at least slow them down... I have yet to have any problems.

Although I do have a bed cover also.....

Sure they can, all they have to do is rotate it up 90 degrees, and out it comes! Of course, they don't have the sliding brackets... but you don't won't have the bed extender. I don't leave mine in the truck when I'm not using it.

I do leave the sliding bed divider in there, which they can't get out if the bed is up and locked.

If anything on the the truck, or the truck itself for that matter, is wanted bad enough there is nothing you can do. Unfortnuately there are bad people in the world who do not respect other peoples property. Just put a bed cover on it and hope for the best. You can always just not put stuff in the bed that you would not want to lose and are not using.

I leave my cleats on all the time, as far as I know they will only fit a Titan and I know all Titan owners are honest, right?

I wrapped a chain around my bed extender and secured it to the tie down using a Master lock. You can get to it using bolt cutters but I figure I would rather have the extender in the bed....since ya never know when you will need it

I was thinking about that this weekend also. I recently used a bike chain to secure a cooler to the bed extender, but dont remember if there is anywhere to chain the extender to the actual bed?

There are 4 tie down points where you could easily attach a chain. One on each corner of the bed.
