Mini Meet in Knoxville

One of our members is visiting from California, and will be in Knoxville on Saturday, October 23rd. I thought this would be a good time for some
of us to get together for a little informal meet.

I believe that the Nissan dealer in Alcoa, which is very close to the
airport, will be the best location for us to get together. I have a call
in to the owner, who will be back in town on Tuesday, for approval
for us to be there. If he says no, we'll find another dealer or make
some other arrangements.

Some of us are also talking about getting together for dinner on the
Friday night before (the 22nd), so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I promise not to talk any politics or bring any firearms. I rarely drink,
but could be talked into it.

Who's up for it?

Steve

You may want to go to my site and let them know also. There are several guys from your area I think. ClubTitan thats why I created that site to get people meeting each other. I had my first meeting last tuesday with another member and his wife we went to lunch. They were really great and I had a blast. Its lots of fun meeting new people and sitting around talking about your trucks and mods and stuff.

If you think it will make it that far, super.

J/K. I'll let you know Tuesday night about Twin City Nissan.
If they say no, I'll find us another place. It's probably only
about 40 miles for me to come, so if you're the only one to
show, there will still be four of us to get together.

M4ck, you know Greenville isn't that far from Knoxville.

I look forward to meeting you, got_titan. You haven't seemed to be
around here as much since you changed jobs. They must be working
you too hard!

If any of you guys are interested in the Friday night dinner also,
let me know so I can work on that too.

Yeah, I used to tell my wife some of us liked to go there for
lunch because they had a great fish sandwich.

It's possible some could wind up there Saturday after the
meet, but Friday night looks like the wives will be in tow.
If you can sell Hooters to them as the place for dinner,
I don't think you'll have any trouble getting that job at
Twin City!

Daryl thought you might be having surgery that week, rawze.
I hope you get some relief. I strained my back a couple of
times, and those spasms were the worst pain I think I have
ever experienced.

I hope we'll get to meet you also at a later date.

Would Saturday afternoon or evening be a better time for
a meet, rather than the morning? You guys that would have
further to drive, would a later time help out on you getting
there?

As far as the dinner goes, would Saturday night be better?
If we have the meet late enough in the evening, maybe we
could do a dinner thing afterwards.

I'm very flexible on this, and I guess it depends on who is
going to show, and what their schedule will allow before we
nail down the times.

I'll post tomorrow as soon as I know about Twin City. If
they let us use their place, I'll see how late we could be
there. If not, it'll be up in the air as to time and location.

Any feedback?

Sorry to interrup the flow here guys but I got a question for all of you if you can answer it (forum restrictiions etc). I am from Johnson City and looking for Titan. Where did you buy your trucks and did you get good deals and nice salesperson to work with? I will be going to Knoxville for a week last of Nov first of Dec for school related to my job. If I haven't gotten a truck by then I might like to get out in the evenings and shop around or maybe even drop some emails to them competitive pricing. Thanks for any help you can give. TN-19 GA 14. grin grin.

As a side note I went to Memphis about 3 weeks ago and I only saw 3 Titans on the interstate and that was in Jackson. Only saw about 5 or 6 the whole time to in and back Memphis and home. Saw 1 in Cades Cove 2 weeks ago. Tried to look at it more than the deer and bears. .
