Some 05 packaging, Adam Smith and VDC info

First off, how do you like my new nickname? My wife called me a Titanoholic the other night and I thought that name fits me much better for TitanTalk vs. GoCougsKev.

Anyways, I met Adam Smith today at Advantage Nissan. Adam showed me the 2005 package options and I also drove a 04 Titan home to make sure it would fit into the garage, it did with ease!

2005 Options: I know for a LE 4x4, VDC is not offered at all. Also, if you want navigation, like I do, you now HAVE to get the off-road package along with everything else. This is a small dilemma for me. I want the 6 spoke wheels vs. the 7 spoke wheels but if I want the nav, then I have to get the offroad/7 spoke wheels. In addition no exterior colors have been canceled, they just added Red Alert. Other then that, no other differences then what nissannews.com reports for 05 changes.

Adam Smith: GREAT GUY! Adam appears to be pretty young, but very knowledgeable. Adam has to be the MOST down to earth salesman I have ever met. Seems to be honest, no pressure, no haggling and easy to talk to. I didn’t even have to ask about the $500 below invoice, he just flat out said the deal $500 below invoice. So if you are thinking of doing business with him, do not hesitate. As soon as I figure out for sure what options I want, I am going to place an order with Adam. Adam put in their monthly orders yesterday for December shipments, so like Adam pointed out, I have all month to figure out what I want to do until they place their next order at the end of October.

So, if anyone is going to be getting a Titan in the December/January time frame with 6 spoke wheels in the Washington State area, I would love to swap 7 spoke wheels/tires with you! If anyone is interested in this, PM me!

I spoke with Adam at Advantage today. I too will be placing an order for a 2005 Titan at the end of the month. I don't think I need to look any further with the $500 below invoice deal!

Thanks for all your positive feedback! Just so everyone knows, I didn't pay him to say that and we aren't related!

I'm just thankful to be able to do this. If you really want to help your friends in their car purchase, refer them to this site. I'm committed to making this fun (yes, fun) for people!

Thanks again!

Adam

where were you before 8/31?

Nah, I dont regret it, payment stayed the same and I didnt loose another years worth of depreciation...

Hopefully you or someone doing the same thing will be around in 2-3 years when I trade up to a loaded LE...
