RF Aux input?

I have an MP3 player called a RioVolt, it plays both CD, CDR/RW, MP3/WMA. When I plug this into the Aux port everything plays fine but the power is very low. Listening to the MP3 player through headphones sounds fine, plenty of power.

With th the volume of the MP3 player all the way and the volume of the RF all the way up it is about as loud as a CD on about 20. Why would the output from the aux port be so much less than CD or FM?

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a problem with my stereo?

Thanks!

It is a problem, yes, but not only with yours. I am not sure if this was fixed in the "new" radios.

You can purchase an inline amplifier like this: http://www.xmfanstore.com/showproduct.php?id=linedriver

and splice it to the aux wires. It will raise the volume close to that of the cd player.

I got my Titan 2 weeks ago. My Ipod has to be maxed out for reasonable volume.
