I just got my Titan yesterday and I love it!
Just a quick question though....is the storage box in the center console (the one between the two armrests on the SE with Captain's Chair) supposed to have a tray in it? Mine is just one big compartment when you open it, and the manual shows what seems like to be a pocket change tray...
I called the dealer and they think that it is supposed to be like that, but they still want me to stop by and have them check it.
I'd be nice to know for sure before I go there.
Thanks!!!
The answer is yes...and no.
Somewhere, around April I think, Nissan stopped putting them in. I managed to speak with my dealer and NissanUSA and one was ordered for me and I'm picking it up today.
GA-matt, and you let it slide??? a ~$30K truck doesn't even have a coin tray???? give me a break!!! They better give it to me or I'm selling it! (j/k...)
I guess it's more like one of those things you don't really miss (or need) unless you had it from the start. I always dump my change into an empty cup holder where I can reach it more easily. However, I agree it's a bit cheap for Nissan to leave them out if they are supposed to come on every Titan. I also have a problem with the $70 price tag mentioned in other posts... yea, that's a bargain!
I'm not saying that the change tray will be really useful to me either but I hate the idea of spending that kind of money and get a truck with a bunch of missing stuff (who knows what else could be missing?)
No coin tray?..I just bought a new Titan...I have no money.

I recieved mine yesterday. I had the dealer order it after I found out they messed up my passenger airbag installing leather. They asked if there was anything they could do to make up for their screw up after they fixed it. I told them "as a matter of there is.........." it's no big deal but it is nice to have. I'll take a pic and post it tomorrow.
