Question Keyless entry question????

Is there any way to bypass the horn honking when you lock the doors with the keyless entry remote? I know they put it there so you know doors were locked, buy I find it kinda irritating, especially @ night.

yeah just disable it.....I just followed the instructions in the manual - I think it's holding down a button (not the panic) on the keyfob, but I can't remember which one does it....

Hold down lock and unlock button at the same time. Lights will flash and that's that.

WTF, seriously, is this the week special or something. 3times about the stupid "amazing window roll-down" feature and now this. RTFM or just search the forum for other people who failed to RTFM.

What amazes me is that these people know how to drive...makes you wonder what part of the manual they missed there.

Maybe I wouldn't have read it if it had a better topic description...it's too late once you open it.

Title seemed pretty self explanitory since I had a question regarding keyless entry. I didn't think to look in the manual for it since I didn't think it would be in there.ETFOM

Oh yeah, I figured out how to drive by reading another manual, not this one. It amazing how some of the info is the same.

Anyway's I thought this was a help forum, you really make people feel good about asking for help.

If you don't want to go into the thread, but still want to see the original message just move your cursor over the thread title and the original message will appear for a few seconds. Just trying to avoid conflict.

DStewart - you just keep asking questions. If I can help you out, I will. I don't need to post B.S. remarks when someone has a questions, and I know the answer. Perhaps when a certain someone needs to ask a question, maybe you'll be able to answer him back in the same fashion.

Why must people slam on posts....it might be a dumb post to some people but it could be informative to others. We're here to help each other out, not slam others for how dumb their post might be and that they should've read the manual first. I've read the manual but I still have problems that I need to post on....

I've been on this forum since Feb and this crap just started recently. I agree MikeZ same few doing the flaming. This forum is a great source of information for all. The flaming serves no purpose to anyone. I think some of those doing the flaming may have joined the wrong forum. This isn't the Dodge forum. Grow up and get over yourselves flamers.
