Placed 05' order with NewNissan/Adam Smith

Well I put my order in with Adam Smith, what a breeze! It took more effort to get dog food at Costco today then to place an order for a new truck! The total transaction time was about 5 minutes. No haggling and no hidden fees to get a killer deal of $500 below invoice. I spent a good hour talking with Adam about various things that interested me. Usually I can't wait to get out of a dealership, but I actually had a great time making my order. I have no relationships what so ever with these folks, but so far it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with them. I just wish it was this easy when I bought my wife's Honda Accord! If you’re within the Puget Sound area or even in Oregon/Idaho, with out a doubt I would consider buying from Adam. Heck, if you’re across the country and want a weekend getaway you might want to consider purchasing your Titan from Adam and then breaking it in on the trip back home. Anyways, I am very excited to get my new 05' Titan and ecstatic about the deal I got on it. Oh, I also saw a new 05' pathfinder pull into the dealership when I was leaving, looks very cool!

Titan Coug,
I similarly had a great experience with Adam last Friday as I placed my 2005 order. Only I spent 3 hours with Adam. Most of that time had nothing to do with vehicles. I guess we can expect our new Titans to arrive in Bremerton sometime in January--perhaps on the same truck. Is that your understanding of the arrival time?

Well, historilcally Adam Smith was the one that pioneered laissez faire (free trade economy) on how trade should be smooth and friendly. Seems fair that this Adam Smith is also one to have a deal with!

Adam along with everyone else does not have 05' pricing yet. Adam does have 05' package options. I placed an order for a 05' 4x4 Crew cab LE, Big Tow, Offroad, side/curtain airbags, sunroof, navigation/DVD and I decided to get it all in Silver. Whatever the 05' invoice pricing turns out to be I will pay $500 less plus any rebates that might be offered when the truck is delivered.

Peninsula: Yes, Adam said my truck should come in the January shipment. I too spent some time with Adam, talking about Nissan's and other topics. What do you think of Adam? Pretty darn nice guy and a straight shooter huh? About 1% of my time dealt with ordering my truck, it was so darn easy! Where abouts do you live? I am in Bremerton, but it sure would be cool to drive our new Titans off the dealer lot and drive them down to Claim Jumpers for a good celebration!

T'holic,
I agree. And Adam has a silver tongue on most any topic but is sincere and down to earth. I enjoyed our conversation which ran from current events to careers. And he's only 25. Keeps a picture of his wife and kid on his desk.

So you're pretty close to Advantage, also in Bremerton. I'm in Port Townsend. Takes right at an hour to get to Silverdale, then maybe another 15 minutes to Advantage.
Be great to "pick them up" the same day. And, yes, that would call for a celebration and toast!
Cheers.

I too had talked to Adam back in April when I was looking at the 04 Frontier SVE CC. I ad placed an internet query with Nissan in Bremerton, and he called me up the next day to let me know what they had in stock, what other WA dealers had in stock, just in case they didn't have the model I wanted. When I purchased my Titan in May from Burlington Nissan, I felt kinda bad cause Adam called me the next day and asked if I was still looking at purchasing a Frontier. I barely had the heart to tell the guy I went somewhere else and bought a Titan. He does seem to generally care about meeting the customers needs as opposed to other dealers.
