Lowering Drivers Seat?

The only thing holding me back from a new Titan is my height and the high sitting position. I am almost 6'8" and the windshield angle forces me to look through the tinting. Is there any way to safely lower the seat? I've asked my dealer to check on this, but they have not come up with an answer which means either no or they did not bother to follow up. I've already thought about removing the visor which adds about 1.5" to my field of vision. My height was great in basketball days, but really can be a pain in the a** -- along with finding size 15 shoes, 38" sleeve shirts, etc, etc.

Hey Rockman, I don't have an answer for you, just a comment or two. I am 6' 4" and the inside rear view mirror blocks my view, as well as the swept back "A" pillars along the windshield. (Especially when going around left hand corners while going downhill).

I think that the seating position is best for 6' and under. Part of the seat lowering problem may be that the Sub box is located under the driver's seat if you get the RF system. If you got a Titan without the power adjustable seats, you might have better luck lowering the driver's seat. Good luck!

I hear you. I'm 6'6". The interior size of the Titan was a big factor in my purchase. I sit a little high in the Titan (though not as high as you), but the leg room makes up for it. I'm with IMADOGMAN, I think it would be really hard to lower the seat without a lot of modification and voiding of warranty.
