Having Problem, Air Bag light won't go off

Here's the scoop. I took off my dash piece (2nd time now) that is around the radio and heater control knobs, along with the wiring harnesses for the three heater, A/C controls, the AUX jack, hazard light button and the Air bag light that tells you if the passenger air bag is working. Now on my dash, on the upper left side next to the speedometer, a red flashing icon of an air bag appears and won't go away.

I must tell you that this happened before when I took the dash piece off to do some work. So I took it to Nissan to get fixed (which took forever). To me this just baffles me. What if someone goes to put in an aftermarket radio, do they have to take it to Nissan also because they unplugged some wires that need to be unplugged anyway? This sounds really strange to me and if anyone has had this problem, or a solution, please let me know.

Thanks Guy's (and girls)
