Titan on the Beach

I recently had my Titan on the beaches of N.C. I have never take a vehicle on the beach before, other than washing and waxing upon returning home is there anything else I should do? Does this cause abnormal wear to rotors or breaks? Or any other problems? As a side note, I drove normally, I did not do any baja style of driving.

Thanks

Occasional trips to the beach shouldn't be a problem. If you want to be extra cautious, you could rinse the bottom of the truck to remove any sand and salt. One way to do that is to put a sprinkler in the driveway and drive back and forth over it. Or just use a water hose.

You really don't need to do anything extra though.

I fish all the time on the beach with the truck. Just rinse the under carriage really good. Flush with plenty of water, washing is also a good idea, especially the chrome and while driving on the beach dont go nuts or sand will find its way into mysterous places.

I'm still amazed at the people that I used to see driving down the beach through several inches of ocean water at Pismo Beach, in California. [Several of them over the years! ] Maybe they were trying to clean their undercarriages.
A couple of them even got stuck and the tide was coming in on them. One had water almost up to the windows before it was pulled out.
This is just another example of why buying used is a gamble.
