Talking Dodge Dakota HEMI!

Just thought I'd share a little humor I found today on I-84 in CT. We were driving up to Six Flags NE and I was in the center lane doing about 65 or so when a Dakota came up on my azz. I didn't think much until he kept backing off and getting on my bumper until I could see only a few inhes of his roof. So I slowed up a bit to get this moron to pass......much to my (and my passengers) surprise, when the idiot passes me, he has HEMI badges on both doors and the tailgate! Well...after we all stopped laughing, I pulled up along side so he could CLEARLY see us pointing and laughing (not something I'd normally do but...c'mon). He then tried to pull away! LMAO..Wasn't happnin'! I floored it and pulled away like he slammed on his brakes. Then I proceded to get back in the center lane and put the cruise back on. Man..he must have felt stupid! And he had to be in his mid 30s.

Hey, I drive on I-84 everyday.

What a punk, he mind as well put a huge spoiler on the back and slap some racing stickers on it, that might add a solid 45-50 Hp.

Drove 84 though hartford twice this week. It would have been even better if he had mufflers on it to make it sound like a street bike!! LOL

That is sad, and definitely rice: putting badges on a vehicle advertising equipment the vehicle does not come with.

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!

I thought HEMI badges were worth 75 extra HP, and if you sprung for the chinese writing on the tailgate you could snag an extra 105 HP. Then if you top it all with an all aluminum (non-painted) 'wing' on the back, it was worth another 100.

Have i been misled by the ricers? Thats disappointing. I was under the impression I had to go and spend 1500+ on my big block to get that kind of power, and only the rice rockets could match my 1/4 time and HP from 10 bucks of stickers.

Was it a brand new re-designed 05 Dakota? If so, the 05 Dakota's are available with the Hemi.......

Dodge SHOULD put the Hemi in the Dakota. A thousand pounds less than the Ram would be a nice hp/weight boost.
