Removing Stain

I just discovered a stain on the rear seat. I do not know what it is but think it came from placing grocery bags on the seat. Any suggestions on a good product that might get it out without harming the material?

Go to autopia.org (a car detailer's forum) and do a search. They also have a archived area on how to clean different parts of a car.

In the past I've had real good luck with a product called "Hot Shot" on cloth seats. It comes in a purple spray can with an orange cap I think. It's never discolored or damaged anything I've used it on, but I would test it first.

I used a can of fabric cleaner made by Nissan that cost $5.75. It has worked just fine for my seats. I got it from Courtesy Nissan.

I have also noticed that the door handles and door moldings seem to show signs of dirt really bad. I have tried some simple cleaner with no luck. Has someone found the magic cleaner for the door handles?

For the seat stain, it's first try something like a little green clean machine by Bissell. I prefer to suck the dirt out rather than cover it up or rub it in. I use mine all the time (Haven't yet in the Titan) and it works well. If that doesn't work, I found a cleaner called "Lifter 1". It comes in both a carpet cleaner and fabric cleaner....and I'll tell ya....if that doesn't take it out, it's permanent! That stuff has taken ink from and exploded pen out of tan carpeting like nothing else. Good luck.
