2 or 4 cats

do you guys have 2 or 4 cats on your titan? mine was on the lift yesterday and noticed i have four. thought i heard some people on hear say they have two. i know the 03 maximas came with either 2 or 4. 4 being for the states with the strictest emissions laws like California. if that is the case for the titan than that sucks for me. Would much rather have 2.

I question if the rear two are really cats. I suspect they are really some kind of resonator based on cat construction. anyway, if the mood strikes you cut them off. half the trucks out there don't have them. juma

I agree with Juma that rear two (right before the Y) are probably resonators, since the service manual just calls them "exhaust tubes."
