Nissans Active front headrests actually lean forward a bit during a collision. It's supposed to help in whiplash situations because your head doesn't travel as far to hit the headrest. Does it work?....who knows.

It appears that it is new in '05 and comes along with taller seats....DAMNIT. I could really use the taller seats actually.

Sarkazm is right, google is a wonderful thing

why can't you lean your head back on them? i do. feels like most of the headrests i've owed before.

the worst i had was on a honda. the kind that has a big hole in the middle. those were completely unusable.

My headrest is about 8 inches behind my head...totally useless. I keep my seat way back when I drive and this happens to me in most cars that dont let the top of the headrest tilt like my Jag XJ8
