Question Rear lowering kit(?)

Finally got my chrome bullbar and 20 inch chrome rim together and they compliment each other. Check out my ride at http://www.usantonio.com/busrtsphoto2a.htm Now, I am neither a "lowered" nor "jacked up" fan BUT I do no like the "*** in the air look" of my Titan. Any rear only lowering kit (2 inches max) available? While i'm here begging for info, any recommendations for DUAL exhaust for the Crew Cab? I had been web surfing and cannot find one. HELP! Thanks in advance.

Looks pretty good I think. I am not that big of a fan of aftermarket wheels, but those look pretty decent. Man, how many big *** toys do you own? I bet you think the Titan gets great gas milage after driving that RV!

I get 6-8 miles per gallon of diesel fuel on my RV and the Jetboat uses about 15 gallons of 89 octane gas per hour. The Titan gets 14 MPG. Like they say: Pay to Play. Any helpfull info on rear lowering kit and dual exhaust for a crew cab 4x4? Thanks

A New Leveling Kit That Works

Thanks for the info. The above kit raises the front to match rear height. What i'm looking for is a way to lower the back to match the front height. My personal preference would be closer to the ground for lower center of gravity thus better handling while not sacrificing ground clearance. (The effective stock ground clearance is the lowest point of the suspension) Again, many thanks

That would probably require a new set of leaf springs? Say, saw your home remodeling too...very nice.

One of the board sponsors sells a kit to raise the front of the Titan to be level with the back, if you are willing to accept that compromise. No, it's not a lowering but at least then it would be level.

On a side note, does your bus/RV have a Detroit two stroke like a 6v92 or 8v92?

My RV is an MCI-9 with Detroit Diesel 6v92 turbo. I do not use it too often to warrant the switch to 8v92, besides it would cost too much to do it and it's going to take some dollars off my other toys.

Titanoholic,

how much did you pay for the bus, if I might ask. I've been looking for something to take to football games. was considering old school buses but that looks a lot more usable. the old school buses are probably easier to maintain than a 2 stroke detroit though.

Paid 20Gs 3 years ago. Now you can get a nice one between 10-15 as the market is flooded with them. Look for one from the southwest. I heard that schoolbuses are diffecult to get insurance for. I pay 750 a year for my RV just because I claim to drive it only 5000 miles a year. Check out www.busconversions.com and they have a board and you can get a lot of ideas and information from fellow busnuts like me.
