New Radio and the Dash are both OK (thanks Trikky)

Had the new radio installed today and here are the results:
FM stations get good sound and NO fade but volume is still not up to CD.
AM station are just OK which I don't mind.

Special thanks to Trikky for his post on the "Dash Scratches by Dealer".
I took pic.s of my dash and took them in this morning and went over every inch of exterior and interior of the truck with the service guy.

They probably thought I was parenoid, but when the truck came out it was perfect. No scratches or dents.

I just had my radio replaced yesterday... or so they said. When I picked i up, all my stations were still programmed in the unit, even the AM and secondary FM stuff... Also, my AUX cable was still plugged in... Anyway, I haven't really noticed any difference yet... the fade in/out for me was only occasional so time will tell if they did fix anything... but I must say I am a bit puzzled if they did do anything at all...

I know what you mean. Even when I put the service person on the spot, he said that mine and hundreds of other Titan owners' replacement radios where basically "Reconditioned OLD ONES"!?
What a company!

Ok, I finally got my radio in after waiting over a month. The FM is by far an improvement. The original radio was bad enough that I gave up listening to anything but CDs. The volume difference between the radio and CD is improved but still not the same. Maybe around 3 notches in differences. Excellent install with no damage. I noticed that there is more static but that was probably part of the fix such that the radio wasn't so sensitive to degredation to the reception. I'll take some static over fade any day.

I had to drive by my dealership today because its been nearly 3-4 months since I ordered my radio. The lady finally decides to fax Nissan and see whats up and told me that they have to see my radio ID number because the one she told them 3-4 months ago was invalid. Sorry for the runon sentence -_-
So overall, I probally end up waitin another few months for the "radio" to come in

My pleasure DT, speaking of my dealer they finally fixed finished replacing the pieces they initially scratched, and then scratched when fixing those, yesterday.

I still have a HORRIBLE rattle coming from my rear seatbelt...it chatters whenever Im on unever roads...ugh.

Tell me about it! My terrible rattle comes from the front passenger side of the dash. I've done what Jet said and still can't find the source. I sure wouldn't trust the dealer to take it apart so as they say: "turn the radio up".
