I WANT LINEAR. seriously. who wants a turbocharger on a stick? either give me a more efficient turbo or give me linear, low end torque with a supercharger.

i'm dissappointed. meh, the tranny and diff probably couldn't handle 400 hp any way...

Sure, here is something to wet your appetite. The Supercharger adds 80 HP at the rear wheels and comes with a 3 year 36K mile warrantee.

Look how far that belt has to travel to get up to the SC.

Question 05 Frontier Supercharger - Hood and Warranty?

Hi there,

VERY Sweet pics! Can't wait to get one of the new 05's!

My questions is, could you tell if there is going to be a hood modification necessary in order to add that Supercharger to the 05 Frontier, or will the standard factory hood close properly over it?

Also, it comes with a 3 Year, 36,000 mile warranty, but how will it affect the manufactors warranty should anything happen to the engine? Any thoughts?

Thanks again for the pics! Truly appreciated!

HKINGS, I got your PM but I'll answer the questions here since you also posted them. Although the hood on the show car was not modified, it did not look like you could close it without hitting the pulley on the SC. This may not be the final design or it may require a hood modification (or I'm wrong and you can close the hood).

I dont have any info on the warantee beyond what's posted in the pictures. I would assume that Stillen would cover any engine damage resulting from the use of the SC. I'm certain that Nissan would void the warrantee on the entire engine.

The Frontier ones are very similar to the American Racing Vector. Don't know about the Titan.

Question Lift on 2005 Froniter ???

Hey JersyDirt,

Thanks for the reply regarding the Supercharger! Out of curiosity, were you able to get any info on the Lift that was on that exact 05 at the show. I spoke briefly to someone else in another forum whom was at the show and he said,

"It was a simple lift. It was a spacer between the strut mount and a shackle in the rear for about a 2.5" lift."

When he says simple, does he mean that its easy to install and get parts for? Were you able to get any info about the lift? Also, is that kind of lift safe and or durable to put on a truck versus an actual full lift kit?

I know the 05 Frontiers arent out yet and this is a Titan forum, but any and all info is truly appreciated!

Thanks again!

Stillen's blower for the 350Z voids your power train warranty but if you purchase that optional 3yr/36k, it replaces that power train warranty, as stated above. Stillen covers the engine/tranny etc. after the install. The milage and time STARTS when the blower is installed. Not from the date of purchase of the truck. Hopefully Stillen is still doing this the same way. Seems like a nice program.

I wonder how much they will let you change pulleys for more boost and how it would affect the warranty.
