weird clunk

i notice that when i start my car in the morning and head off to work after driving about 50 feet i hear a clunk....im not sure where its coming from, but it happens mostly every morning. sometimes i can hear it after leaving work too. just wondering if anyone else is hearing this. i tried holding my keys and making sure they dont hit the plastic and i still hear it.

This from the Manual ... Could be a ABS System Check???

computer. The computer has a built-in diagnostic
feature that tests the system each time you start
the engine and move the vehicle at a low speed in
forward or reverse. When the self-test occurs,
you may hear a "clunk" noise and/or feel a pulsation
in the brake pedal. This is normal and is not
an indication of any malfunction.

check the plastic covers that cover the 2 rails in the bed, i had a clunk when i was pulling out of my driveway every morning, lasted about 2 days untill i checked every logical thing i could think of, finally it hit me, i remembered someone on here talking about the rubber covers sliding up and hitting the front on the bed, anyway that was my problem.
