Lightbulb Speed-Freak's 2004 SEMA Show Pics

http://www.speed-freak.ro/sema04.htm

We were only in Vegas for 3 days and of those three days were only able to get in one full day of show wandering. So, to say I have only a few pics of the show is an understatement. Knowing I didnt have much time I tried to snap pics of all Titans and Zs I could for us.
Didn't help that the battery in the camera pooped out faster than I thought it would and I did not bring the extras with from the room. We covered about 1/2 the show and I snapped all Titans I saw.

While around I asked some of the vendors about Titan and Titan products. Other than Vortech all other supercharger companies are gunshy of the Titan. Most want atleast 3000'ish units initial sales and 1000 units annual sales to develop a kit to release. So, looks like Vortech will be it for atleast 6 months, if not years.

I asked the reps in the Nissan booth about the NISMO Titan and it is a concept for sure. From what I saw and the fit and finish of the products it was a full aftermarket job. Body kit may see light of day, but I doubt under the NISMO name. Wheels are already available by the maker and is the story with almost everything on the vehicle.

Banks Engineering is still gun shy. Rep said that the Titans were exibitting variences on the dyno due to ECU mapping issues. The ECU was freaking on the dyno runs and making a mess of the power graphs. On the bright side the rep wants me to forward a link to this board so that they can peek in on us. On a side not, Gale Banks is a really cool guy and is awesome to just talk to. Knowledgeable like few others.

There is more, but its bloody late and I am tired. I will check back so ask any questions.

Thanks Man for the pics! Those Z's are awesome I wish I could have one as my second drive. Some of the Titans are real nice I like the Nismo concept and the pics of the Vortech SC, would be great having one. Interesting what you stated re: your conversations there about being "gunshy" mods for the Titan is just not happening. I just hope in three years when my warranty runs out I can find a mechanic that can work on the Titan when needed. Maybe I can provide him with my downloaded copy of the svc. manual. The F550 Turtle is an awesome vehicle. I have an article from an offroad mag. on it and it is an extremely well built vehicle it must have been awesome seeing that in person.

Did You Get A Chance To See/ask What Kind Of Horse Power That Nismo Titan Is Getting With The Supercharger If It Is A Working Prototype?

Did not ask about any details on the Vortec, figured I could call Vortech and get the skinny.

Grill Craft is the grill on some. Still trying to figure out what grill is on the truck with Stillen on the side. Looks like the Stull.

Was expecting more of an overwhelming response to this thread but now that I looked around, my thread title is like all the rest that are showing pics from NissanNews.

Speed-Freak, did you get a close up look at the grill on the Stillen Titan? did it look like the two horizontal pieces were cut out or did the grill sit on top? I spoke to project manager at Stull a while back and he said their grill was an over-lay.

Did not spend any time really studying any vehicles. More of a "oh thats cool "snap*" kinda deal. I am gonna head over to Stillen and get some info on stuff and maybe I will see that truck there and can find out.
