and they don't even offer a 18" option.
According to KBB.com they have the standard
P245/75R17 and optional P285/70R17. No
18" wheel offered. The standard is apx. 2.25"
smaller in overall diameter than my P275/60R20.
The optional P285/70R17 is about 2.50" smaller
in diameter than my 20's.

My titan came with 18'' wheels from the factory. go to nissanusa.com and look at the car. kelly blue book is the worst website on the planet... stick to nissanusa.com or edmunds.com if you want worthwhile information.

Also, regardless of what size wheel/tire combo you have, you need to be within +/- 3% of the overall rolling diameter... if you go beyond that your speedometer will be incorrect.

Per www.nissanusa.com
off road tires P28575R17(with off road package reguardless of trim level)
XE (no off road)tires P24575R17
SE and LE (no off road) P26570R18 also the diameter of these on tire rack is listed as 32.6"

By the way, dodge's 2 options for their 20in rims are both 33" in total wheel diameter. I guess that "but there are 20 rims tires on it" isn't much of an excuse any more!

All the tires for the Titan (both 17 and 18") measure close to 33".

285/70/17 = 32.7"

265/70/18 = 32.6"

I concede!! I just looked at a Titan where I work
and it had 18's on it. They measured just under
32 inches. Can't see the off road tire option in 17"
being 33" as someone stated.

The BFG website shows 32.8" for the off road 17" tire.

I'd bet not. They probably have a lower profile tire to make up the difference. The 20" wheel issue means squat. I tend to believe it's more about gearing than wheel size.

All Titan's have a GVWR of 6499 lbs according to Nissan's site. I know mine does.

Have a good one.
Thanks for the info........I thought the 5341 curb wt from edmunds seemed a little high.

Actually, performancewise it means quite a bit. The 20s are much heavier than a 17 or 18" rim. Also, the weight is further out from the axle centerline and has much more rotational mass. This puts it at a serious disadvantage. Also, lower profile tires have much stiffer sidewalls, hence less flex and less grip from a stop.
