Talking Wife's First Impression

Well, my wife drove the Titan for the first time by herself today (I had to take her car into the shop for some maint work). When I asked her how she liked the truck, her words "Its kinda loud, makes me think that I'm 18 again in a hot rod" I told her that's what I want to hear . Makes me laugh at the pocket rockets (little Hondas and such with oversize exhaust tailpipes, but puny engines)

When people say "clean as a whistle", they forget that a whistle is full of spit.

That is why I think Fast and The Furious III should feature the Titan as one of their street race vehicles.

My wife had a Nissan hardbody 4x4 extend cab with a gutless 4 banger in it when I met her. Oversized tires 30, and about 1 inch lift(bought it used like this). Before that a Toyota 4x2 Disel!!!! She loved trucks. Then decided she was ready for a car so we got a Subaru Outback wagon LTD... It's gone 2 1/2 years, cool but NOT a truck. She LOVES the Titan (Same color red), but this puppy smokes!

My other 4 wheel vehicle is a 94 jeep. I'm more of the smaller wheelbase 4x4 guy, but I still did all the research and picked the Titan. It kicks some serious ***. Still not too sure about the frame though. My Jeep has a FRAME, the Titan feels tinny. I know I read all about how much better the metal is etc, but it doesn't clack heavy duty. :-)

I know I'm a macho man and everything, but dang it is a big change backing into a parking place with this big rig! Wrangler it is not!

Oh and the gas milage is only about 1-2 MPG less than that old 4 banger!

She uses it Mon-Fri. I use my 2 wheeled Yellow Gl1800.

My wife had to take our new Titan CC out for the first time this week. Her first quote...
"It sure has a lot more power than your Tundra."
I love it...
