I don't know anybody who did this yet but you can probably find the answer to your question from the nissan manuel found online for download.

On my Armada there is a panel cover on the handle, and behind that panel cover 2 screws (deep set- philips type). I just remove those along with 3 others (one behind panel's arm rest, and two more around the door handle) and then pull kinda hard. Pops right off.

Just added power windows, power door lock kit, keyless entry with alarm to my xe. There is a little clip holding the handle on the shaft. With the handle pointing up, use a tool with a small hook to pull up on the clip. You must pull the handle out slightly to see the clip which is between the handle and the black circle plastic piece.

On most other cars that I have delt with there is a C-clip on the inside of the window handle. You can use a Flat head screwdriver to get behind it and pop it off.

nawww, I would use a hook tool like Chris suggested unless you have spare clips lying around. They tend to fly away with a screw driver.
It is easy to see if you PUSH in on the panel and pull out on the handle, you can get almost 1/2" gap to get a hook in there.
TAKE NOTE of the alignment of the handle BEFORE you take it off so you can put it back on at the same angle.

If your adding Power windows do you need to know where the handle was aligned b/c wouldn't you be taking it off and replacing it with a switch? I understand why alignment would be critical if you were not making the mod.

haha.... good point. yeah, if you are doing the whole job at once you won't need to worry about the handles pointing different directions, good call!

Questions: The kits come with plastic plugs for the hole where the handle is now. Does the plug match? Does it fight right? Do you need to grind down the spline shaft that comes out of the hole so the plug will fit plush?
