Height difference in 4x4 & 4x4 off-road?

I have changed my mind on getting a 4x4 instead of a 4x2. Now i need to decie if I want the off-road package. Can anyone tell me their recommendations on this decision and does anyone know the exact height measurements of each one? thanks

For the KC, the 2WD is 75.0" in height vs 76.6" on the 4X4 models. On the Crew Cab models, it's 75.1" vs 76.7" respectively. I can't find anything that says models with the off-road pkg sit any higher or lower. Ground clearance on the CC model is 11.5" but 11.3 with the off-road pkg. Not sure why because it also says that minimum rear axle clearance is the same 10.3" on both KC and CC with or w/o the off-road pkg. I think maybe the skid plates have something to do with it.

Wheel and tire size would also contribute, I have the XE/4X4/CC w/no off road and the tires and wheels are smaller than with the off road pkg.

I've been involved with PrerunnerGregs lift kits and we did measurements on the 4x4 with and without the off road pkg. The off road pkg 4x4 is slightly higher than the non off road.

The O-R pkg equipped 4X4 is .8 inches higher than the non O-R pkg equipped.

Same thing applies to the 2WD versions.

The springs are completly different. The OR spring is thicker and taller and a lot stiffer.

Thanks so much guys for the info. I was looking at a 4x4 cc le with big tow, off-road dvd, sunroof, mats and side airbag (msrp 39,660) The truck is outside of austin and it has been used as a demo for about 2 weeks (500 miles on it) The internet manage tried to quote me at 34,864 which includes the rebate. Is this guy kidding me? I mean i can get this for atleast 6k off at most dealerships without it being a demo. ???? Anyone bought a Titan built like this? If so about what did you guys pay . thanks again for the info .

http://www.new-nissans.com sells Titans at $500 under invoice, if you're willing to travel to get your truck. I wish I would have known about them before I bought mine.

Definitely where I'll be getting my next Nissan.

Agree with igottatitan.

Unfortunately for us here in good ol California, we can't take advantage of that as CA won't let us register an out of state purchased vehicle here without big penelties unless its over 24k miles if I remember correctly.
