silverado rental

Sheisse! darned if two people didn't back into my smoke XE last week. there is something about that color that just leaves a blank on the retina of most folks. I've noticed it doesn't attract cops either, probably for the same reason -- big as it is, it just can't be seen. anyway, got their info and put the titan in this week for the body work. Got an 04 silverado LS for a rental. That was what I was going to buy before I found the Titan. What a dog the silverado is. Won't hardly get out the way of its own tailgate and seems so dated. the seats are like sitting in a hole. not even a tint on the upper part of the windshield. It was wallowing so bad I took it to the gas station for a rental car tune up - air the tires to 40 pounds and remove the air filter element. Its a lot better, now, but it just brings home to me that the titan is a real hoss and a half in comparison with the others. slumming this week....juma

That silverado must have the 4.8 liter in it. I ha a Tahoe rental with the 4.8 in it an i thought it moved it fine but still no comparison to the 5.6!

so you're driving with no intake filter? not that it matters, it is just a chebby.

break it! one less silverado on the road will make me happy.

just dont forget to put it back in before you take it back. actually, they probably wont even check. free air filter.

My buddy has an Avalanche with the 5.3 in it and he says it's just as powerful as the older 5.7 Chevy. He likes it. He hasn't driven the Titan though either. LOL
