Man I'm scared! Are you guys really hauling 2000+ loads in the back of your Titan's. The Max load limit is 1104lbs! What's that doing to your already low fluid level differentials? And are you loading 2000+ on stock tires? You guys have more guts than me, that's for sure. I'd rather have my truck stick arouind for a couple of years and make to multiple runs to the lumber yard, than shorten it's life and try to get everything in one run.

i think the tian is a pretty good work truck, the towng is excellent ( though I havent come close to 9000lbs),

I have put close to 1/2 ton in the bed and it didnt sag--for lumber I dont really like the installed bedliner since the plastic cover on the tailgate is not level with the rest of the bed.

but all in all I think the titan is a great work truck

Picked the truck up from the dealer on a Tuesday night, had it in 4HI looking for a good place to set up a stand on Thursday morning. 250K Acres of land to explore and lots of loose mud. The truck was dirty and the front wheel wells popped of the mounting screws. New screws, large washer and good washing and the truck is ready to go again. I baught is as a scratch and ding from the dealer. That helped me get over the initial "don't want to take it to the woods fear".

I've hauled split fire wood, using the bed divider as a window protecter and the bed extender. Very suprised how much i could get in the 5.5 ft. bed. Transported motorcycles, securing a motorcyles is almost to easy with the bed pkg. I've towed a car, bought my titan to pull my sleds haven't had a chance to tow them yet, need snow. Pulled my buddies K5 blazer out of the mud a couple times and done some 4 wheeling myself. Also just completed a 4K mile road trip, 13.5K miles and not a single trip to the dealer, although I need to get the seat belt recall performed.

We've hauled firewood, a freezer, camping gear, and who knows what else in the bed of the Titan. It does good for that sort of thing. We also towed a 7000 lb travel trailer, no problem with power, passed a cummins pulling a similar size trailer going up hill. Got tired of him slowing down to 40 mph going up every hill.

My specs say 1404 lb for 4x4 - I'm sure with the OR pkg it's even higher because of the stiffer springs. I wouldn't think twice about putting 2k lb in my Titan.

Low diff fluid is something that's easily remedied... by adding more diff fluid! DUH!

Sure. Then again, I'm running the BFGs with the OR pkg. I just let some air out to equalize the pressure, and you're good to go.

My biggest concern when hauling such a heavy load is the brakes. They've already proven not to be the best in the world...

Take 1404 and subtract 200lbs for yourself and 125+/- for wifey and there you go.

I was assumming that guys who don't check the load limits on their trucks would also not check their diff' levels. Logical assumption.

It's kind of dull to post "I hauled 2,100 pounds of engineered lumber, along with a couple hundred pounds of tools in my toolbox, and she still had play in the suspension."

?????

Yep, what he said. Plus, read your warranty. By adding that bad boy to the front of your truck you've effectively said by-by to your entire warranty.

And FYI, for those who still haven't read their warranty, don't tow your vehicle with the wheels in contact with the ground -- flat bed only. Otherwise, that too, will void your warranty.

I saw this, and have a question. What happens if your truck it towed without your consent (like illegally parked) on two wheels. It should void my warranty, correct? If so, who is liable for the voided warranty? Me for parking illegally, or the towing company for towing it improperly.
