Mine is a daily driver but got a truck to replace my 15 year old F-250 diesel. Need a truck to tow my boat and trailer to and from the launch ramp. Got rid of my fifth wheel trailer a couple of years ago and the big diesel was just overkill. Hated to part with an old friend but sold it to a guy with a good home.

Was going to replace with an F-150 but the Titan's features and performance were too awsome to ignore.

Love the Titan and it tows like a dream.

Don't believe what you hear all the time , i have been around the plow business for a long time , their are plenty of people plowing with lesser trucks out there , lasting many years . Its like anything else , go easy and your truck will last for many years . Also, dealers make money on warranty work ,they'll close their eyes for anything to make a buck . Its all about who you know .
P.S.-- how will anybody know if you towed your truck on two wheels ???

From my experience the only concern for plow trucks is the transmission from all the forward/reverse/forward motions. What is everyone else woried about other than warranty?

Let me get this right.

There really are people that aren't selling snow plows who think that pushing snow with a $25.000 or more brand new truck is Good?

People in these areas must really be desperate to have the snow removed to make this a money making prospect for the owners of these trucks.

The day I bought my truck I stopped and picked up 1000 lbs of mountain stone on the way home. When I told the salesman what I was going to do he couldn't believe it.
My truck is a daily driver but I also use it to haul the camper and my utility trailer for my 4 wheeler. I've even hauled three deer home with it this year. {brag, brag}I've only used 4x4 a time or two but it sure is nice to have it when ya need it.
All in all I think that this is a great truck it not only looks good and runs strong but it can also haul anything I throw in it.

I use it as....a vehicle with tons of interior space

I'd still have my old Frontier if it weren't for the fact that I was cramped pretty badly in that truck.

Sure I use it to help people move and stuff, but I'll never tow (dont even have a hitch) and the vast majority of the time, the bed will be empty.

Does everything

I bought the Titan because it can do everything. It will tow my boat, I can put my mountain bike in the back, I can load lumber in the bed, LATCH system keeps my 6 month year old safe, I can drag race and I can put all 4 windows down turn on the RF system and pimp down the street.

You should have read my next post which stated I was joking and have owned several Toyota's and really liked them. What I meant to say was Honda's...

I miss my 01 Tacoma, that thing was a blast to drive and it held up to my younger years abuse. Never rattled though.

Before getting the Titan, I drove a 94 Toyota 4X4 that I used for hauling manure, dirt, gravel, boulders, lumber, trash, everything. Owning several rentals gave it a good work-out, and many a friend chided me for not getting a full size American truck, but that baby did me good for 10 years. In fact, I still drive it once in a while and Coach Jr. is learning to drive via the Toyota. I got the Titan for towing my new 32 foot travel trailer .
I read all the tow mags, the comparisons, etc., and no matter how much I wanted the F-150, I couldn't ignore or resist the Titan once I drove it. Have yet to give it it's first dirt or gravel bath.....may hold off a while on that, but it's a beast towing!

I use mine for hauling motorcycles and towing either an open m/c trailer or an enclosed Haulmark trailer, and various building materials, firewood, etc. It's a little big to manuever in the parking garage at work!

I am not a truck guy, but I needed one for towing my boat. Now that I have it, I am digging the versatility of the thing. It holds my family nicely, tows my boat, loads up at Home Depot, and pushes me back in the seat. What more could I want? (Well, I'd really love to break the 15 MPG barrier, but it's only been 2 months, and I have a pretty short commute).

When my truck was less than a week old I filled it with debris from a house I was remodeling and made a dump run. They guys at the disposal site were flabergasted. Since then I've hauled 35, 90 lb bags of stucco (the loader said that the Titan is one of the few half ton trucks he'd load that much into), hauled 1 1/2 yards of concrete in a mixer, and tons of building materials. My first accessary was a lumber rack, followed shortly by a kat back dual exhaust. Work is what this truck was made for, and work it does, very, very well. Oh, and it tows my boat nicely too !
