I haul crap around in the bed alot. Use it for towing a bit as well. Never done anything more than play around in over grown mud puddles off road. I HATE getting even a tiny scratch anywhere on it. And the insides has to be immaculate or I get pi$$ed. The bed scratches and blemishes are o.k with me. Its lined, adds character.

im really OCD about my truck, but some stuff you just cant help. like the dent i mentioned earlier, is from a ATV sliding in the bed. you gotta pay to play right? i guess scratches and dents are the price!

Re: So who uses their truck the way a truck was designed?

I use mine as a daily driver Mon thru fri. On the weekends it is used for whatever I have to do. I hauled a bunch of trash from moms to the dump, last weekend had some sheets of 3/4 ply and shingles in the back to replace part of the roof, I use it to haul my motorcycle around when I dont have to take it far and the most important and the reason why I bought it was to pull the Toy Hauler.

I still do take pretty good care of it, wash it once or twice a month and hit it with some spray wax.
