Thats not a bad deal. My SC for my cobra cost 3800 and it came with injectors, MAF, Chip, fuel pump etc.

Wonder if this kit will come with the same.

If it goes through nismo does that mean it will have a warranty?

Not bad ($$$) when you factor that it won't hurt your Nissan warrantee.

I wouldn't want to pay that kind of money for an aftermarket unit and have to pay for everything that gets broken too...

Price range sounds about what i expected. Now we just need a guinea pig to buy one and test it out when it comes out.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the American version of Nismo does not warrant products like the Japanese version does (built into the warranty of the vehicle).

The catch is, if you want to keep any warranty with any factory performance product you better have the dealer install them. Thats where they get you with the stuff at.

NISMO :( warranty

I have a 350Z and asked severel questions about NISMO parts for the Z

If its an S-Tune its under warranty

If its an R-Tune there is NO warranty

Supercharger is R-Tune

Basicly S-Tune is graphics and art.

Max - Sure...someone buy it for me and I'll be a guinea pig...

Also - EPhil has it right...if it is R-Tune its not covered by warranty.

Reddy - Most SC's add 40-50% over stock...You can probably count on 120-150hp from it.

I wouldn't put expectations up too high.....hell, just look at the other blown vehicle Nissan has, the Frontier/Xterra VG33 w/ blower.....just a +30hp change from the N/A version, and the truck is barely any quicker. Anything Nismo puts out is going to be shunted somewhat in the interests of drivetrain reliability and whatnot, so power gains will most likely not be near as much as if, say, Vortech makes a supercharger without contracting it through Nismo.

If it kicks up the torque, Im gettin one--I like that start off jump more so than HP.
for those SC heads--may I ask do you have to increase the exhaust piping size with superchargers?? my pipes right now are 2.5" all the way through

Another advantage is maintaining or increasing power output at higher elevations...like towing a trailer over the Rocky Mountains.
