Wow! 100% Nissan family now!

Just made the deal on a 04 Murano SL AWD, pretty loaded. It was too much but with the $1000 cash back, I made an offer, they came back $700 more (just like I expected, mainly on the trade in) and I told them I'd leave and sell it outright and be back in the spring to look again.

Done deal. Very happy with the deal. Now my wife has a nicer (read "more expensive") than my LE Titan! LOL.. but at least we have a choice now on which vehicle to take on trips...

I'll have to get some pics of them together... I'm sure they'll be happy together.. LOL!

Ya, the funnest part is over. Buying it. I went in with my offer and stuck to it, almost walked and it was done. That just proves that if it's fair to both parties, they will honor it... I understand they have to try to get more.

I wish my titan had some of the options the Murano has! the little space where the nav goes (we didn't get nav) has a really nice LCD display that shows dual temp controls and awhole bunch of other stuff. wish the Titan had that!

It will be nice now to have 2 vehicles that we can take on trips. She traded her 01 Civic EX in on it, which I didn't fit in comfortably at all. Now I'm almost jealous. But I love the Titan every time I get in it!

you want to hear a nissan family, here's my story. when i was 16 i bought a 88 nissan hardbody truck, and my brother bought a 88 mazda rx7. then for financing reasons I bought a 99 mazda b2500 (bad decision) and my brother bought a 98 nissan 200sx. then my mom bought a nissan pathfinder, my wife bought a nissan altima, my brother now bought a glorified nissan infinity g35, and my step dad bought an infinity q45, and my brothers fiance bought a nissan sentra se-r, and I now bought a titan. We should get some kind discount I think. The 1 thing from driving all these vehicles that I have noticed about nissans is that they need bigger stronger brakes. The breaks on my crappy mazda truck blow away all the other nissan's I have driven exept for the infinity's they now own.
recap current vehicles:
me-titan
brother-g35
mom-pathfinder
wife-altima
stepdad- q45
brother fiance-sentra se-r
uncle-old nissan hardbody 4x4

Another Nissan family here...I drive an 04 Titan LE, before that was an 04 Maxima SL (traded for the Titan because I just had to have it). Parents own an 02 Altima. Sister and Brother-in-law own an 02 Altima, they owned a 98 Altima AND a late-90's Frontier King Cab (rolled and totaled) before that and before the 98 Altima was a 200SX. Aunt owns an 02 Pathfinder. Different Aunt owns an 02 Altima and before that owned a mid 90's (can't remember exact year) Pathfinder. And it all started waaaay back in 1986 when my grandmother (yes, grandmother) bought the family's first Nissan...a 1986 Nissan Maxima.

I test drove the Altima SER... that thing is WICKED fast! And it looks really nice.

I was basically a honda/toyota guy before getting the titan. If one of them would have had a vehicle as nice as the Titan or Murano I probably would have looked there first. So I'm still in transition phase.

5 hours to go until pickup of the MO. can't wait, but I'm sure my wife is going crazy as well!
