Side Impact Airbag question

I have a question about the side curtain airbag. In the manual, everywhere that it discusses all of the airbags, the only airbag that ever has the verbage "if equipped" beside it are the side impact bags that are mounted on the side fo the seats. I know this is probably a ridiculous question, but am I to assume that we all have the curtain and only some have the seat mounted bags? Don't grill me here. Its a legitimate question...sort of.

VSHORTT,no we don't all have the side Curtain Airbags(that push off the trim starting near the A-pillar).The Side Curtains,and the Side airbags(that punch out of the seat) are always installed together as a package-if you have one,then you have the other.I would guess maybe 5% of the Titans have the Airbag Pk. One of the Titan's selling points is that you can get the Airbag Pk on the cheapest truck-XEKC.Dodge offers them,but it is impossible to find-and only on really loaded Rams.The Tundra will offer them(2005),but same story.Thanks,Charlie

The side airbags and curtain airbags come together in a package. Unless you have the SIDE AIRBAG PACKAGE, then all you have is the two front airbags.

it's a $850 option on the 04. on the b pillar between the 2 doors you would see a round embossed circle that had "SRS" in it.
