My 05 Virtual Reality Titan

According to Nissanusa.com my 05 CC LE 4x4 Titan - Blizzard with Graphite , loaded with every add is at my dealers lot.

My dealer says they have not received it yet. They said that the Interenet shows it the morning of or the morning before the truck actually makes it to the lot.

So I will get my truck - TODAY or TOMORROW.

I can't wait - I am tired of my little tacoma that gets 14.3 mpg. If my gas is going to suck, at least I can do it in style.

I actually got 12.2 on my last tank....but still averages out to around 11.5. This is city, and if anyone here tells you they're getting 15+ city, they're lying. I know alot of the guys drive fairly long distances in their commute, so that is going to be where alot of that comes from. You're gonna average anywhere from 11.5-14mpg at best. All depends on your driving habits and how much city driving you really put into it, or if you actually drive highway mainly. Anyway, just keep a tally in Excel with miles from the trip odometer at fill up, and gallons put in on that fill up. I have price at fill up to so I see the fluxuation in price among the stations I use. I fill up once a week since I drive city with my furthest trip being 20 miles round trip, but still stop and go traffic.

My dealer tells me my '05 will be arriving November 25. Accoding to your dealer, he can't know that. What's your take on that?

Penn,

Yes, they can actually get a date in the system for estimated delievery at your dealer. Appears his dealer may not want to disappoint with a date that may be delayed.

I've been tracking my fuel use in my PDA using a fuel log program and prior to the switch over to winter gas, I average about 15.5 mpg. Now that the winter gas is at most stations, I am down to about 14.5mpg. I drive 34 one way to work. It's about 25% city and the rest is highway at 85 mph. So far I am happy with the mileage compared to my chevy 1500HD.

Wow. I have a '95 Nissan XE-V6 4x4 KC with 127,000 miles, and when I beat on the thing I still pull in 16mpg, but run about 18 most of the time...
