suspension questions!

So here is my dilema. I have the street beat 2/4 lowering kit, but as I saw the pics of another titantalk member, once installed, the rear is about 3/4 inch lower. He said it would level out once the front springs break in, but how much? A full 3/4 inch? Also, I want to add jettech's helper springs after lowering it too, which as I think was also mentioned, also lowers the rear about 3/4 on 4x2 (correct me if I'm wrong). So with the kit and the helper springs, the rear would be 1.5 inches lower right off the bat? And at most I would think that the front springs would lower another 1/2 inch once broken in, if at all...Assuming that, my rear would still be 1 inch lower...So here is the question...I found some 3 inch lowering springs. This would cover that inch I have sagging in the rear...Or would it...I know this all sounds complicated, but if anyone understands it and could shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it....Thanks

With the lowering kit, I recall reading the oem 3-leaf springs are swapped out for new 4-leaf (stiffer) springs.
Perhaps that is sufficient to perform the same jet-tech spring function. Just a thought.

I see from your personal data you are thinking of changing rims too. If that includes tires, you may be able to boost up the rear a 1/2" higher via a tire diameter change. (i.e. 265-70/17 fronts, 285-70/17 rears)

Same comment as Tony. Those helper springs compressed the stock leafs when installed infront of the axle (not the intended application... but they are working great for me). I would do a test comparison side by side with your stock leafs and the new leafs from Street Beat.
The new leafs probably have LESS of a bow to them. If that is the case, the helper springs will NOT lower the rear, it will only help prevent axle wrap. You won't need them in that case, as your new stiffer 4-leaf spring won't wrap nearly as easily as the stock leafs.

I would install everything you want to put in, let the front's break in then evaluate the situation. If it's still lower in the rear you can probably cut 1/2 to a full coil out of the front and be fine.
