Need to find tach source

Installing remote start... having some problems, main one is i have no idea where to connect the tach.

i think the actual unit is broken, its a crimestopper remote start and alarm. the alarm was working and remote start was not and now all of a sudden it just stopped working completely... all wires are connected properly and i get no light or anything on the led.

I'm sure its broken but regardless... it stopped working when i was looking for the tach connection to get the remote start working. where do i connect it?

OK ready... There are 3 wires on each coil pack at each spark plug, use the wire that is NOT white/blue srtipe and not black. They are the common wires, the other is a tach reference. Splice into that other wire.

thanks, i read around and you seem to know what your doing with this... didn't you install the crimestopper yourself?

couple minor things i couldn't get we're the horn and lights which are optional but do you know how to connect them... i thought i had them correct and it just didn't work. Do they need relays?

also it says "use external relays for high current ignition and/or accessory circuits greater than 30A. Failure to do so could result in damage to the unit...." i wonder if thats why it stopped working... i have no idea how i'm supposed to know how many amps it is... or what to do if in fact they are more then 30A.

I didnt use any external relays... The lights wire is the red/blue stripe at the dimmer switch on the dash where you adjust the brightness of the dash lights. If your installing the crimestopper add on then the horn wire is not needed. It will honk on its own when you press the lock button. Thats for cars without horn honk confirmation.
