Angry People Suck!

Hey Guys..........just have to vent. I got my Smoke XE 4x4 Titan CC last Thursday (Verteran's Day!!!). I love this thing. The family and I were out for dinner tonight and as I was fueling up, I noticed a dent/scratch starting on the rear of the driver's door and ending about 8" into the rear passenger door. F**K!!! My wife took it shopping today, so somebody must've got her with their door. Looks like most of it will come off, but the door is creased a little. The first scratch always hurts the worst, I know, but I'm still annoyed. Oh well. Thanks for the sounding board.

Sorry to hear your brand new Titan came with a dent so soon...

I was paranoid for about 3 months until I made the mistake and made a ding.

Don't worry about the little things like that. Laugh it off and remember each ding has a memory

lol

Don't worry my wife put the first ding on the truck herself.....Three days after we drove it off the lot she didn't notice a small metal sign pulling into a parking garage. Next thing you know I have a white Titan with a black accented bumper. Feel your pain. That happened three months ago and I still look at the bumper when I walk up to the truck from the front.

I bought a scratch a ding from the dealer. He took off a bunch of money and I did'nt have the "first scratch" anxiety. I still look at any new scratch a painful, just not as much.

I trained the wife right. She parks far out in the lot. BUT that still doesn't stop the occasional JAGOFF from parking next to you when there's 5 million other parking spot closer and away from you. I ALSO FEEL YOUR PAIN!!

GOOD LUCK getting it fixed if that's what your going to do.

People Suck!

Yes they do. This is why my wife hasn't got to drive the truck yet. I know she would be to lazy to park in the back. She's one of those that will wait 20 minutes to get one of those front spots.

Ouch, that sucks. I did my first ding to my Sedona Titan myself, had it 5 days and was backing it out of its parking spot at the campground, didn't see the log on the road, took out the 7-pin wiring.

Have had the White Titan for 8 days and as of today it has NO dings, I'm paranoid though. That was the sucky thing about giving up the Sedona Titan, it was already 5 months old with 15k on it and a few dings.

Sounds like this thread should be re-named "Do you let your wife drive the Titan?"!

Sorry to hear about the damage, that really does suck. Similar thing happened to my wife's new car abut 2 weeks after we bought it.

Yea, mine would want to drive around in circles for 10 minutes so we could knock 10 seconds off of the walk from the parking lot.

Anyway, I also feeel your pain. I spent $300 replacing a shredded bumper/fog light shroud. I was at 4Wheel Parts and didn't see a parking lot chain poll because it had been run into so many times before it was sitting at a 45 degree angle. I'll tell you what, those a$$ ho!e$ wouldn't even offer to split the cost, and thats after spending about 5 g's with them. I don't care if there the last parts house left on the planet, I will NEVER spend another cent there! By the way, I went back the next day to take pictures of the poll, and they had pulled it out of the ground.

Sorry, didn't mean to rant.

We remove dents and scratches and even paint different parts of the car. If you are in So-Cal, let me know so I can help you out with the pain.

Most of my customers blame the dents on their wives, parking poorly or dropping something on it. I'm sure it is not the case though I just nod my head

btw, NOT advertising. I'm not a supporting vendor. If you are in So Cal and want to meet me, I will help you out for $free for being a Titantalk member.
