Soft Body

I was wondering if anybody else hears the creeking that comes from everywhere inside the truck if you drive over unlevel terrain, for instance pulling in my driveway slowly the plastics inside creek, dips in parking lots at slow speeds I hear all sorts of creeking! Is this normal? Also I have 6,000 miles and I feel like a thumping or judder of some sort in my steering wheel when I brake and just about come to a stop. Is this a saftey hazard or is this what all the other threads are about?

The truk needs to flex a little, if it was stiff it would break... try this, while driving on the freeway look at the mirror and see how the bed moves relative to the cabin.... there is a lot of movement, but it is all ok.

Batman,

Your Titan's cab-mounting bolt(s) might not be tight enough... I believe there are 6 of them.

Mine is rock solid so far. With under 2000 miles, I don't have any ticks, creaks or groans.

Mine is rock solid also. I used to look in the mirrors of the Silverado and watch the bed twist in every direction relative to the cab.
The TITAN doesn't do that atl all. It is always rock-solid and very still, even off-roading.

I was under an '04 F-250 Super Duty diesel Friday, and was amazed that the frame rails are NOT a full square, the inside of the frame rail doesn't exhist. The beams running front to back under the truck are like a C shape with only 3 sides.

I remembered reading the Titan had solid, 4-sided beams and them seeing them when bolting on my tow hitch...

Maybe that has something to do with the domestics' beds moving so much and the Titan's not budging.

Yah, check your cab-to-frame bolts
