new, hello all! first vdc experience!!

i got my 2wd se kc a couple of days ago. i was very impressed with the vdc. i was on 5000 foot pass last night at 29 degrees and snowing hard. lots of ice on ground and stuck in an endless line of stalled traffic. cars and trucks were sliding all over the road, some of which were unable to move forward at all. my truck, which i left in second gear, had no trouble moving forward.

good deal... Tahoe area no doubt... I lived in Antioch, CA. back in the late 80's loved going to Tahoe when it snowed,

no, between las vegas and pahrump. i have family in angels camp in the tahoe area though. i would have felt much bettter with 4wd, but it is good to know that vdc will help when weather surprises you.
