2005 Power rear window on CC models..

I'm currently having my dealers service mngr looking into the possibility of retrofitting the 04s with the power rear window He's a good friend). He says he's had a few calls already about them and continued to explain that the CC models were always supposed to have that back window...ala the Ford Sport-Trac, but was ditched at the last minute because they found only one supplier and their quality wasn't up to snuff. By the time they found one, it was too late for the 04s.
I've heard that the window wouldn't fit the 04s but he says it's the exact same opening (Even the KCs) and only the electronics portion are questionable and depending how desparate one is, can always be wored in ways other than stock. I'll let you know when he finds out any info.

please keep us updated as I heard the same thing when I bought mine that nissan backed out on putting the roll down wind in the first year models.

the funny thing is that the early show model in late 03 lal had the current window

I called Nissan and was told it will not work in the 04. If you need to verfiy this, you can call Walter at Nissan ext. 8419. He researched it for 2 days with the Nissan engineers, then called to tell me what he found out. I also went to the dealer and looked at the 05. The back of the cab has an offset in the bracing that creates a slot for the window to slide down into that the 04 does not have. Also, the 04 window is glued in and the 05 window bolts in with a gasket. I have the parts lists for the rear window along with drawings. They even gave me the price on all the parts.
