sounds great for IE, but I have made the switch a couple months ago, and now I use firefox for 98% of my web browsing.
The reasons that I do so primarily center around the following add-in features: ad-blocker, mouse gestures, and image zooming plug-ins. I haven't come across a firefox add-in for spell checking yet, but I think that I might not want a plug-in spell chacker, because of the install/runtime executable size vs. performance of the browser. But browser selection is best left to what works best for you.
To keep this reply related to this forum, (which runs the vbulletin software), other vbulletin forums that I frequent have spell checkers integrated, and I hope that someday (when the sponsor count gets high enough to afford it ) they will integrate it here.
But that is my opinion, and I welcome all the new sponsores who hav come abord in the last too munths.
So what are you trying to say? Well Sammy will be very happy if everyone got this, lol! Where is Sammy anyway, have not seen him here for a while.
Downloaded it, thanks Lizzardking.
I hear ya!!!! I no not spell Good!! LOL! <--- there, thats better, I spell checked it for you with my new spell checker! Now we just need to work on the grammar!
You just have to love technology! I have a spell checker at work in my Outlook but don't have it on my laptop. I would have thought Windows XP professional would have come with it. Come on Bill add the spell checker when you release "longhorn". LOL

I'm using firefox also. I attended a really good home PC security seminar through my work, and the strongest point made was NOT to use IE (even though it is a standard where I work) because of the massive security issues and the resultant constant patches to compensate for these problems. The main issue seemed to stem around the over-integration of IE into all aspects of Windows.
Firefox seems to be a lot lighter on resources, and all keys seem to function identically to IE, plus I like the integrated "tabbed" browsing feature myself.

While on the security subject, if you use Weather Bug, I suggest that you remove it immediately. It turns out that it opens up over 10 ports to the outside world. We found this at work the other day when we rana security audit on our routers. It appears that is you lock down and block a port it wants to open, it simply opens a different one.

First of all, if any of you are not already using Firefox you should download it right now, cause your missing out on alot of great features and an all around better browser. (Kind of like the Titan to trucks)
Once you have Firefox if you want a good spellchecker download the SpellBound 0.6.0 extension and thats it, presto!
For instance, when your typing in a text box such as the one I'm typing in right now just right click and the spell check button is right there.
I've had firefox for some time but have not been using it because the bookmark organization just bothers me. Is there any way to organize them like IE? By that I mean have folders listed first and then the indvidual links after that? I've done it manually but that is a pain! I know it's a minor issue but it just bother me for some reason lol!

Sometimes when you buy a new mouse or other peripheral, spyware is on the installation software that is included. Beware! All this junk, most of it hidden, gets dumped on your hard drive and lets the bad guys in.
Logitech is one of the worst offenders.
